Ohalik Valley is the trip Rhomb points people to once they're past their first few hikes. The trail follows a riverbed through a narrowing canyon, crossing the water a handful of times before opening into a wide valley ringed by rock walls. It's long, it's occasionally wet underfoot, and it's the closest thing in Rhomb's catalog to a proper wilderness day.

This one earns its 'challenging' label. Bring water shoes — the crossings are no joke. Genuinely felt like real wilderness for a day, ten minutes from Samarqand.
