Why Rhomb

Built by people who were doing this on weekends anyway

Rhomb started as a group chat organizing trips out of Samarqand. Everything since has been in service of keeping that feeling intact while more people join.

Guides who know the trail

Aziz, Bekzod, and Dilnoza have run these routes dozens of times. You're not following a map for the first time together.

Priced for a weekend out, not a luxury trip

A full day on the trail costs about the same as a night out in town. We built pricing around that comparison on purpose.

A community, not just a shuttle

Most people join because a friend did. The trip is the reason to show up — the group is the reason people come back.

Small groups, real safety

Group sizes are capped by trail, not by van capacity. Every guide carries a first-aid kit and knows the bail-out points.

What the trail actually felt like

Reviews come from confirmed bookings only — no trip gets reviewed without checking in first.

I'd been putting off going on one of these for months because I assumed it'd be expensive or intense. It was neither — just a really good day with people who turned out to be easy to be around. Already signed up for Nefrit Ko'llari.

Tuzkan Sunset

The scree section humbled me a little, but the guide paced the group well and nobody got left behind. Standing on the ridge at the top made the whole climb worth it.

Kichik Chimgan Peak

I'd never hiked anything in my life before this. It was short, the guide checked in constantly, and watching the sunrise with tea in hand made me want to book the harder ones.

Qoratepa Sunrise Walk

This one earns its 'challenging' label. Bring water shoes — the crossings are no joke. Genuinely felt like real wilderness for a day, ten minutes from Samarqand.

Ohalik Valley Canyon Trek

You forget how many stars there are until you're somewhere without any city light. The sunrise hike the next morning was a nice bonus, but honestly I'd have paid for the stargazing alone.

Zaamin Night Camp Under the Stars

Kept assuming the photos were edited until I stood next to the actual lake. Moderate pace, shaded most of the way, and the tea break at the lake is a nice touch.
