Nefrit Ko'llari — the Jade Lakes — sit tucked inside Zaamin National Park, and the color is exactly what the name promises: a deep, mineral green you don't expect to find at altitude. The route runs through pine forest for most of the way, with the lakes appearing one after another as the trail climbs. It's a full day, moderate on the legs, with enough flat forest walking to make it approachable for hikers who did their first trail with Rhomb this year.

The color is real, I checked
Kept assuming the photos were edited until I stood next to the actual lake. Moderate pace, shaded most of the way, and the tea break at the lake is a nice touch.
